Bandai Namco’s Family Ski is all set to launch early next year in Japan, now that Wii owners have access to the Wii Balance Board – bundled with Wii Fit. This screenshot shows off what many Wii owners were hoping the final game would include as a control option – Remote, Nunchuk, and the Balance Board.
You’ve got the Balance Board, which we know will figure how you shift your weight and make your avatar tilt accordingly. Presumably, the Wii remote and nunchuk are now free of having to control your tilt, and can take care of things like speed and braking (ski poles!) or other things such as tricks, tucking, etc.
It’s perfect! The only thing closer to the real thing would be… the real thing, and that would cost hundreds of dollars and make you go out in the cold. Nevermind the physical thrill…
