I’m totally looking forward to Wii Fit. Not just for the balance board, but I think the whole Wii Fit concept is great… especially for someone who pretty much lives next to a gym but is to lazy to go often. A closer look at the Media Crate sales that we get hardware numbers from each Thursday shows just how well Wii Fit fared. The exercise program and Balance Board bundle launched on December 1st with an initial shipment of 300,000 units. How did it do?
Wii Fit sold through 254,000 units in its first two days. That’s more than Super Mario Galaxy sold in its first four days despite a larger shipment. Success? You bet!
