You have to be f*cking joking, i’m getting so pissed off with the way we keep getting shafted

Battalion Wars 2 (Nintendo) 15 February 2008 – eh wasn’t this suppose to be out something like 15 February 2007

Mario Kart Wii (Nintendo) Q2 2008 – your joking we get to wait 4-5months more then the US, i may just explode.

And no mention of Super Smash Bros. Brawl at all, that means it might not be until this time next year we get.

Now i realise that it takes time to localise games to the many european languages, but i’m sorry thats bull of the highest order, i live in Ireland where we all wait for them to put other languages in even though we all speak English and the funniest part of all is after all this localisation they don’t even put the games into Irish.

You may say oh its to do with complying to pal standards. But again this is bull since 90% of TVs are PAL/NTSC compatible.

I mean what the hell do we gain by waiting… this is why the wii should be region free like the DS. This simply encourages piracy.

Because believe me i am getting very tempted to simply modding my wii so i can play other region games.

WTF is the point of “next gen” if you get “next gen”, 6-12months later, after you know everything about the game from the internet.

What makes this really frustrating is that its not like Ireland is some back water contry that never plays games or buy consoles, we have the 2nd highest console adoption rate in the world after Japan.

    Rant over!

So… nothing whatsoever worth getting excited about for the next 3.5 months. The best we’re getting are second tier titles like revenant wings and zack & wiki (which, to be hoenst, does not excite me at all).

    Where’s Wii Fit?
