Proof in Pies: Nintendo systems are made for kiddies

Who doesn’t love a good pie? Mmmm, numbers outlined in the shape of a circle. Delicious! This one in particular is made up of all of the games currently available for the Wii. The different colored sections represent the ESRB rating that each game was given.

There are all sorts of goodies here, but the key point made by this chart is that there is a ton of E rated games released for the Wii. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, even though the title suggests otherwise. After all, E for everyone means everyone. If the Wii was inundated with titles rated C for child, we would have an issue.

It’s anyone’s guess what this information says about the Wii’s gaming demographic, but most will agree us Wii gamers have it pretty good right now. Take a look post-break for some more pie shaped goodness outlining Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo’s consoles.
