Teen Passes Away While Claiming Wii Console Prize
Fourteen year-old Patrick Coulter recently passed away almost immediately after winning a Nintendo Wii in a raffle drawing. On the night of his death, Patrick was attending a church-related event at the stadium for the Providence Bruins hockey team.
After hearing his name called as the winner of the Wii console, the boy had a heart attack while running down to the ice to claim his prize. Patrick had suffered from a heart condition his entire life, which was the ultimate cause of his fatal heart attack.
Our hearts and our prayers go out to the Coulter family as they deal with this tragic loss.
