Super Mario Sunshine/Galaxy graphical comparison

Two GameCube’s duct taped together, hm? Game Trailers has gone ahead and put together the video above to compare Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Sunshine. There’s a noticeable difference, but it’s nothing like Super Mario 64 to Sunshine. Have a look anyway, and let us know what you think!

    Hmm, I didn’t notice the semi cel-shaded graphics style that Sunshine used. It just fit somehow. I’m glad they chose the realistic route this time though.

    Thanks for posting up the video. Really a nice look at how far the graphics have come since the Sunshine days. Not only is Galaxy much funner to play (no FLUDD!) but it looks much better as well.

    To be truthful though, I don’t think Sunshine is that bad of a game. As a mainstream Mario game though, it seemed to be missing the polish we’re used to and have come to expect. Heh.
