Nintendo Australia has announced that the Wii has reached 200,000 unit sales in the country, continuing to solidify the console’s insane sales rate. The Wii is now the fastest-selling game console to that mark, and has managed to hit the milestone a couple of weeks before the Wii’s first birthday in Oz.

Remember the days when you’d be hard pressed to find Nintendo console owners in Australia? Oh wait, that was just last year.
