Not Enough Wii’s to Go Around this Christmas in the UK

Wii Sold OutWith just over four weeks until Christmas arrives, many holiday shoppers searching for the Wii are already starting to get desperate. The console has been available for a little over a year now, and it has quite literally been sold out ever since. Now entering its second holiday season, the Wii is once again a “must-have, but can’t-find” gift for the holidays.

The Wii isn’t just a rare find here in the States either. In the United Kingdom, some online retailers have reported receiving over 100,000 calls daily from frantic shoppers asking for the Wii. Many retail chains within the UK have also started telling their customers that they will most likely not be able to get their hands on the console before Christmas. Unfortunately, if someone on your list is hoping for a Wii this Christmas, you are going to need a lot of luck and a lot of perseverance to make that wish come true.

i have been told by a GAME employee that nintendo are not delivering UK christmass stock until the 8th of Dec. They are stockpiling for christmass, so there should be enough then.
