Ghostbusters Wii to have cartoon graphics

Some new information on Ghostbusters: The Video Game is here thanks to Game Informer Magazine. The game will be released around Halloween (go figure), and will feature the same storyline as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. The graphical style will differ however – rather than try and match the realism you’ll see with the 360/PS3 versions, the Wii version will sport cartoon-like graphics.

Multiplayer will play a big role, as you wouldn’t want to look for ghosts on your own. You can play up to 4-players in co-op mode, or split screen competitive mode. As for what everyone can do, all the Ghostbusters will have all their tools as well as a special ability unique to each character (e.g. Ray being able to tell where a ghost will come through the wall). Ghosts, on the other hand, can pass through objects, fly, and sneak up to scare you, thus reducing your health (sanity meter, anyone?).

I could never figure out why Egon's hair looked like a cinnamon roll on the cartoon.
