You know Galaxy‘s Co-Star mode? That 2-player mode that almost none of you have even tried out yet (but makes the game so much easier)? Apparently playing with other people is good for your social life, and collecting Star bits is just what the Doctor (Mario) ordered. An excerpt from Chris Stead’s article is below.
Before you know it, what made Mario so special back in the day to all children is accessible to everyone yet again. He’s got another big adventure for us to enjoy filled with amazing lands, heroic deeds, iconic characters and an invigorating sense of freedom. There’ are no aliens or 80’s action heroes and barely an explosion in sight. And think about it, the ladies are suckers for the humble tradesman risking all for a damsel in distress stories – just ask James Cameron and the millions of dudes who got to home base on the back of Titanic’s big hit. And like that mother-of-all date movies, Super Mario Galaxy is a date game, and at the end of a few levels you can snuggle up in bed with balance in the universe restored: harmony between your gaming and your girlfriend. Your sex life, improved.
