A supposedly very reliable source with ties to Sega Europe has confirmed that NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams will be delayed in North America past New Year’s and to around late January/early February. Yes, that’s 2008. The reason? Sonic Team wants an extra month to polish the game up for release.
We’re still waiting on a confirmation, of course, but this is the kind of thing that fans of the series and newcomers alike should accept as a blessing in disguise. A wise man once said that a delayed game is (hopefully) eventually good, but a bad game is bad forever.
