Dragon Quest IV set to sell out in Japan…unlike Galaxy

071119dqivsign1.jpgThe Japanese retailer Tsutaya has posted this notice, encouraging shoppers to pre-reserve their copies of Dragon Quest IV‘s DS remake as soon as possible. Square Enix is anticipating huge sales for the title and will likely be shipping the game in droves. Even still, retailers are already looking at their shipment numbers as “limited” and are telling customers there won’t be enough to go around beyond reserved copies.

The remake will be huge in Japan, and will probably sport some good sales totals when it gets released internationally. Any guesses as to how many copies will fly off shelves in the first week? Galaxy moved 250,000…
