Hydravision, known for their development of the Obscure series, will be bringing the fifth installment of Alone in the Dark to the Wii. The original game of the series served as an influence to Capcom’s Resident Evil series, and Atari’s Hudson Piehl talks about bringing the new game to the Wii:

“Realizing the enormous ambition of Alone in the Dark is a huge technological challenge. Hydravision has risen to the occasion to ensure Wii and PlayStation 2 owners will be impressed by the gripping gameplay experience.”

Atari will be publishing the game, but no date has been set.
