Smash Bros. site updates with Spectator Mode
In an attempt to make Brawl appeal more to the non-hardcore crowd, Nintendo has decided to add a Spectator mode that will allow you to watch random matches online via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Before the match starts, spectators can wager coins on who they think will be the winner. Of course, the only information you can see about the combatants is which character they are using, so you will need luck more than anything else to help you decide who will be victorious. In addition to coins, it also seems that you can earn collectible stickers by viewing and betting on matches.
While it’s kind of exciting to think that others may be watching you play online, at the same time it can be a little nerve-wracking. Be careful during your online matches because if you make a stupid mistake, people all around the world could be laughing at you. No pressure….
