The Metroid-themed stage that showed up at E for All has finally been “officially” revealed. Norfair takes the brawl to the cavern where Ridley once was (Adventure mode, anyone?). Here, the lava rises and can burn you, as usual. Now, though, there’s more lava than ever. Molten lavafalls will come in from the sides, so you’ll probably want to stay away from those.

In addition, the giant lavafall in the back may cause a lava tsunami. What to do? Well, you can jump as high as you possibly can, but only a few characters can evade it… and just barely. Your other option is the safe area. A capsule will appear that you can go into and close off until the lava wave subsides. You’ll have to fight each other for space inside…hopefully at least one of you gets in before it closes!
