Gary Coleman’s GameCube? Whatchu talkin’ bout.
Long-time Tanookians have surely noticed our love for the occasional eBay auction for a ridiculous item. So when Gary Coleman’s entire GameCube collection (autographed, no less) hit the auction block, you know we couldn’t resist.
That’s right, Gary Friggin’ Coleman’s GameCube. However, there is one key difference that separates Coleman’s auction from the rest of the auctions we have come across. I’ll give you a moment to think. Time’s up. So what’s the difference?
Unlike every other high-profile auction, a portion of the proceeds from Gary Coleman’s GameCube madness are NOT going to Child’s Play. In fact, I spent four and a half minutes scouring the auction in search of some sort of charitable organization. Something. Anything.
Well folks, it seems that the auction money ($511 as of this writing) is going to none other than Gary’s own Wii fund. Because doing CashCall commercials wasn’t enough. Enjoy your Wii, dick. Oh, and clean your room.

He needs some lotion and I assume some money.
Those cashcalls commercials are hilarious. 99.25% APR? RIDICULOUS!
lolwut
Ahh come on, give the guy a break. He can’t even get a real job for pete’s sake.
Yeh, you can tell by the background that Gary is clearly not rolling in cash. There’s gotta be some perks to offset all the disadvatages of being a celebrity, why not make a little cash of some crazy “Different Strokes” fan. (Shame I already have a silver GameCube).
Interesting photo … I think I can see Gary’s passport … and what are those pills he’s got ?
Err, actually .. looking at the auction is seems like Gary Coleman probably isn’t the seller, unless he is getting some kind of ‘Ebay agent’ to do the selling for him. More likely the seller got it some other way (and maybe the money *they* paid Gary went to charity ?), or it’s simply a fake. With no certificate of autenticity, you could sell lots of ’signed’ silver GameCubes and just keep reusing that same photo of Gary craddling his beloved console ….
