Remember when characters in the original Super Smash Bros. would appear on the battlefield in fashion, coming out of pipes or riding in a race car? Those appearances are back for Brawl! During the three-second countdown, all characters will appear on-screen with unique animations shown below.
In case you can’t tell what’s going on, here’s what you see in each picture: Mario arriving via pipe, Fox jumping out of the Arwing, a condor flying the Ice Climbers in, Pit descending from the heavens, Lucas riding in on Mr. Saturn’s tea table, Ike warping in, and Snake’s optical camouflage breaking up.
