Wii-gifting: New channel to arrive in December
The Wii Gift Channel is currently scheduled to be available worldwide beginning this December. No word on an exact date, but it’s safe to assume that you’ll be able to send those gifts in time for Christmas. What gifts, you ask? Well, you’ll be able to purchase Virtual Console games (and possible WiiWare games starting February, but that’s speculation on my part) with your Wii Points or Credit Card and instead of downloading them for yourself, you can have a message sent to a friend that they have a gift VC game waiting for them to download.
It’s almost the greatest time of year, so what better way to make those gamer friends happy than with a download of their favorite games from yesteryear? By the way, I’d love Sonic 3. Thanks.

Dude, everytime I see that picture, I laugh. I wonder if I made a face like that when I received my NES at that age.
