Amazon: Guitar Hero III selling best on Wii

Among Amazon.com users alone, the Wii version of the new Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is proving to be the most popular version. Among Amazon’s listing of top selling computer and video games, the GHIII for the Wii ranked at #1 in sales, followed at #7 by the 360 version and #40 by the PS3 version. All three have the same basic track lineups, wireless guitars, and online functionality, though the download features on the Wii version are severely limited in comparison to other versions of the game.

Of course, this is just for the online retailer, Amazon.com. As for the rest of the sales, how did things seem when you lined up to pick up your game at midnight? Mostly Wii owners?

At my midnight pickup, I noticed that the XBOX360 and Wii versions were selling about the same. The PS2 and PS3 versions were not selling at all. The only thing that was lame was XBOX360 owners in line were telling all the Wii GHIII owners how lame they were because of lack of content. But it was good to know that the Wii owners just ignored them (Myself as well), rather than stoop to their level and talk bad about the XBOX360 version. Cause honestly, who cares! I’m just glad that I finally own a GHIII, being that I only have Nintendo consoles!

Fanboys need to just learn to shut their mouths.

After 4 generations of system cycles/wars, I’ve learned to just shut my mouth and enjoy the games.
