While many people up to this point were disappointed by the fact that NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams hasn’t shown any sign of motion control (and thus hasn’t distinguished itself from its predecessor at all in terms of control innovation), there may be hope. The official North American site for the game has launched, and it reveals the following control options:
Play NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams with the Wii Remote, Wii Remote and Nunchuk, Classic Controller, or Nintendo GameCube Controller.
Could this be just like Super Smash Bros. Brawl where controls are simply mapped to different buttons, or could simpler control schemes that involve motion control exist with the Wii Remote configurations? Unless we get an official announcement from Sega, we’ll have to wait until December 18th to find out.
Of course, if we don’t get motion control and I got all your hopes up for nothing, well… my bad.
