Ah, I remember the days when this was supposed to be the next generation. I actually had dreams of finding the N64 DD in stores, only to wake up and realize that America would never be so lucky. Ever. Oh well, at least we get our Metroid Primes before Japan.
Does anybody else gets those vibes of Talent Maker as a precursor to the Mii Channel? I actually wish the Mii Channel had some of these features, such as the pig nose and the obligatory snorkel.
My personal favorite is the Polygon Maker, since it looks like a simplified version of Maya. The demonstration gives a very false impression that creating an airplane is as simple as tossing together a few polygons, stretch a few out, throw in another on top, and BAM! An airplane complete with textures and odd stamps with hardly no effort at all. The video is frustrating to say the least, considering the endless hours I spent on making a tiny portion of a project just right.
