		<description>This reucrring myth that &quot;Wii is only for casual games&quot; is becoming annoying. If Desilets logic was correct, then the Xbox and PS2 can only be considered as suitable for casual games also .... IRCC there are lots of &#039;hardcore&#039; games on the PS2 and Xbox platforms, despite the fact that they have the &#039;inferior&#039; processing and graphics capability of previous-gen consoles.

I think these developers actually have other reasons for not releasing on Wii, but they need to give some convincing sounding answer when asked why their game won&#039;t be coming to the platform. More than likely their publishers underestimated the success of the Wii, and feel it&#039;s too late to jump on the platform now with current games in development. Those publishers who get that it&#039;s about fun and not about graphics are going to rake in some tidy profits with their hardcore releases on Wii, while the onlookers will continue to complain that there is just no way they could have released a hardcore game on &#039;previous-gen&#039; hardware.</description>
