Intelligent Systems seems to have found their swagger as of late, and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn can’t come soon enough. Radiant Dawn should complete the story begun with Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on the GameCube, and it looks like it’ll be quite the ride. The game picks up three years after its predecessor, and will last a whopping 45 chapters.
Visually, Radiant Dawn will look very similar to Path of Radiance, and you’ll definitely get the feeling the sequel began as a GameCube title. There are a few bonuses though, as character art and models have gotten an overhaul (it’s been a heck of a three years…), animations are a tad more exciting, and the game will arrive with a 16:9 widescreen mode for those that can take advantage.
