The Tanooki’s Daily Recap – October 11, 2007

We’ve had our fair share of Brawl news over the past few days, so let’s kick it old school for a moment. I still remember when I first heard about this game and how I thought it was a ridiculous concept for a Nintendo game, but I just had to try it. And try I did. Some people remember 1999 for all that crazy “zOMG THE WORLD WILL END!!” Y2K zaniness, but I remember it as the year of the Smash. My parents might also remember it as the year I stopped doing homework for several weeks at a time…

As for Tanooki news: It’s been a week since my review of Power Pros hit the site, but more importantly, it’s been a week since we have started to feature our own videos. The reception has been pretty good so far, but this is only the beginning.

Over the next few months, you can expect to see a ton of exclusive video coverage. If we are playing a brand new release, you can expect to see a review with supplementary video, or at the very least, a bunch of exclusive gameplay videos. In fact, I am already planning our Guitar Hero III blowout coverage and a halloween themed countdown video. Good times are certainly ahead, so get comfy!
