Japanese hardware sales, October 1-7

It was fun while it lasted. No, wait, it wasn’t! While a competitor held onto the #1-selling hardware position for the third week in a row the previous week, the DS Lite has inched back into the top spot for the week ending October 7th. On the home console side, drops all around, but the Wii managed to hold onto a commanding lead in this area.

  • GBM: 47 (-182)
  • GBA: 0 (-41)

    Michael, I think you are right. Comparing the PS3 and Wii (two highest selling consoles this week) it appears that they both dropped in sales from the previous week.

    Wii dropped 16.6%
    PS3 dropped 21.1%
