This should make a few people happy. All the millions of them.

Sonic the Hedgehog has finally been announced as a playable character for Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The official website reconfirms that Sonic was the most desired character to show up in the Nintendo fighter. We’re not sure what all his moves are yet, but the screens show that he can clearly run, jump, and give a thumbs up. I’ll be posting a video momentarily that will make the majority of you so giddy, you won’t be able to go to bed anymore (assuming you’re still awake rather than waking up at this hour).
