We included this in the conference summary, but something like this really deserves a post of its own.
Mario Kart Wii will arrive on Japanese shelves by Spring 2008 (and hopefully not long after in the rest of the world). When it does, fans of the series will be able to take their favorite characters on more than just the go-karts we’ve already seen in videos and screens of the game. Mario Kart Wii will let players race on motorcycle if they so choose.
Maybe if the fans like it, we might see motorcycles appear in future Super Mario games… that’s definitely one way of keeping things fresh.
