While those of us in North America will (hopefully) be playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl as early as December 3rd, it looks like we may be the only ones doing so before the new year. The Japanese version of Brawl has been delayed until January 24, 2008.

On the flip side, there is a little bit of good news. Aside from the confirmation of Sonic in the game, we get a reconfirmation of online battles as well as the revelation of online co-op modes (in Adventure Mode, perhaps?) in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
