Wii Firmware Update to version 3.1U available

A brand new firmware update is available for the Wii, which will update your Wii’s installed software. What exactly do the updates include? For starters, links can now be sent and received via messages, and clicking on them will open those links in the Internet Channel. Next up, both the Internet Channel and Everybody Votes Channel have updates that are compatible with the firmware upgrade. You’ll need to download the channel updates separately, and some people are reporting those channels to not be downloading – it will say “download successful,” but the shop will still say an update is available. When you ARE able to get those updates, you’ll now have USB Keyboard support for the Opera Browser. You’ll also now have the ability to copy and paste text from a page into a search box.
