Brandweek magazine has named Reggie Fils-Aime this year’s Grand Marketer of the Year. Why? He’s got attitude and loves to brag about the Wii. It’s easy to do that when you’ve managed to easily take the #1 position in the console business despite a year’s late start.
We don’t have the article itself, but it supposedly includes praising comments about Reggie from Kotaku and Joystiq, and talks about a lucky break Reggie’s gotten that they call “bottled lightning.” Now, with Reggie taking this honor from a magazine none of you have heard of, maybe we’ll see Iwata taking home some awards soon. He and Reggie are the epitome of a new Nintendo.
