We’ve seen Sega polish some game graphics up nicely in the past. It’s a little nerve-racking, however, knowing that the game’s release is coming up fast with the game probably going gold within a few weeks. The latest screens of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games seem to amplify the game’s low resolution textures, jagged edges, etc. Luckily, these things can usually be fixed up at the end of development… so there’s still hope.
The game looks like it’ll be fun, and that’s what will hook people. But Sega, you can’t hook anyone if the game doesn’t visually attract them to play in the first place.
