Memory Walk attendees invited to find out their Brain Age

070928brain.jpgIf you’re going to be at the Austin Memory Walk tomorrow in Texas, know that Nintendo will be there to encourage attendees to flex their brains. The Alzheimer’s Association is hosting the event tomorrow (Saturday) from 8 to 11a.m. at Austin High School. Those waking up for the event will get a chance to try out Nintendo’s Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day for the Nintendo DS handheld. You can check out the event details below.

Nintendo Challenges Attendees of All Ages to Flex Their Mental Muscles

WHAT:
In the spirit of keeping the mind active at all ages, Nintendo and its new “brain training” software Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day is a sponsor of the Alzheimer’s Association’s 2007 Austin Memory Walk. Nintendo product experts will be on hand to engage attendees in the more than 15 fun, mentally stimulating activities offered in Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day, playable on the portable, easy-to-use Nintendo DS™ video game system.

The Austin Memory Walk benefits the Alzheimer’s Association and is part of the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. More than 1,000 people are expected to attend the event, which will include a five-mile fundraising walk and offer music, food, family entertainment and other festivities.
