The Tanooki’s Daily Recap – September 26, 2007

Big news today? DS sales totaling over 50 million units worldwide and Beth Llewelyn confirming her resignation from Nintendo of America. A bittersweet day if you ask any fan of corporate Nintendo. Not to worry, though. Llewelyn’s work at Nintendo won’t be forgotten, and soon we’ll have a new face (or several new faces, actually) to get to know at Nintendo.

As for me, I just found out that I’ll probably get my new DS in the mail tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.

The “second best thing to do in the dark” image above is from Europe. Same place they ran the “Game Boy Advance: Almost better than sex.” campaign for the original GBA.
