From the creator of the amazing Zelda-theme Wii mod back in March comes this new and completely original Metroid-themed Wii mod. No limited edition Master Replicas swords or shields here! Instead, a custom-made aluminum Metroid logo was crafted and hand painted/brushed to perfection. The orange Wii stand contains not only a Wii remote stand, but a battery pack for the logo’s backlighting and the stand’s base LEDs. Plus, the green Wii remote and nunchuk are packed with orange LEDs that “breathe” – they’ll constantly fade on and off when in use. How cool is that?
There are just under five days left in the auction, and the dozen bids have brought the current total to over $500. As usual, a portion of the proceeds will go to Child’s Play.
