“He can fly real high with his jetpack on, with his pistols out, he’s one tough Kong!”

For those of you who did not pick up on the Donkey Kong 64 reference, that line is from the somewhat infamous “DK Rap” from the game’s opening sequence. This line in particular fits in well with today’s daily Smash Bros. update, as this morning we learn the specifics about Diddy Kong’s final smash, called Rocketbarrel Barrage. After grabbing a Smash Ball, Diddy will soar around the stage on his rocketbarrels, and light up foes on the ground with his peanut popguns. They’ll shoot straight down, so it’s your raid. When time runs out on your Final Smash, the rocketbarrels explode!

We are also once again reminded that the peanuts that miss their targets will land on the ground and become edible, health-restoring items, so shoot carefully when using this move!
