Not only did Nintendo get rid of the old box art for Super Mario Galaxy in favor of a better one, but they seem to have gotten rid of the old Mario artwork as well. You know, the one featuring Mario sticking his butt in the air. It’s been replaced on Nintendo’s press site by the new Mario artwork, joined also by the official art for Bee Suit Mario, Boo Mario, and Princess Rosetta (whose hair actually resembles that of Princess Peach in these renders. Relation, or popular style?). You can check those out below.
Of course, you can expect more goodies to come in the weeks coming up to Super Mario Galaxy‘s release – it’s only 51 days away.
