NPD Group: August sales and figures

Once again, the DS gets beaten out in the United States by…the Wii! 360 sales are up following price cuts across all SKUs, while PS3 sales are down now that July price cuts are out of the way. On the software side, the charts are dominated by Madden NFL 08, but late July release Mario Strikers Charged managed a respectable #7 spot, while Metroid Prime 3: Corruption squeezes into the #6 spot after having only been available at retail for four days in August.
