Several GameStop and EB Games employees have been dishing out the 400,000 number when asked about Super Mario Galaxy pre-orders between the two sister chains in the United States. It’s not an official announcement, but the fact that this number has been coming from several employees located in several different places makes it obvious: a memo was sent out.
With two months to go before release, expect this number to skyrocket. Add in the rest of North America and all the other stores selling the game, and this game is looking to have a very nice first week of sales.
