Koji Igarashi is doing his homework

It seems that a certain unnamed Castlevania creator is starting to warm up to the Wii.

Yes, Wii is outselling [other consoles], but the Wii software market is dominated by Nintendo so third party titles are not so good [as far as sales]. The fact that Wii is outselling right now can’t be the reason for me to create a Wii version, but I’m always doing research and development about the Wii version, so I have some ideas about a Wii version already.

That’s a big shift in thinking from a little while ago, when in his mind Castlevania just wouldn’t work on the Wii. It’s good to see even more people jumping on the bandwagon.

Man, is Koji high or what, if 3rd party titles are not doing so good then why did Capcom shares rise to a five-year high thanks to Wii:

Also last time I checked, Ubisoft was up due to all the launch games as well. I think he might be trying to find a reason to push away Castlevania on Wii at this moment.

And personally, I have 10 Wii games, and only 3 of them are “Nintendo” games – Twilight Princess, Wii Play (If you even want to count that as a game), and Metroid Prime 3.
