First there was a possibility for both downloadable content and online play, then it was semi confirmed that we would be getting online play, but not at first. Now they’re telling us we will get online play out of the box, but downloadable content is still up in the air? When will the shenanigans end? Red Octane has tried to clean up the mess left by president and co-founder of Red Octane Kai Huang’s comments:
However, RedOctane contacted 1UP to clarify Huang’s comments, explaining that what he meant to say was that downloadable content will not be available from day one — online play will be included out of the box.
So it looks like the only thing that people really care about is still up in the air, but at least you’ll be able to rock out by yourself online. That’s still kind of fun right?
