Nintendo has no plans as of yet to introduce a budget line of titles for the Wii, according to a Nintendo Spokesperson.
“We have no plans for a Wii budget label. Nintendo Wii software is performing very well at its current price points.
They’re absolutely right, why drop the price of software when you can hardly find the damn thing in the stores half the time? Although I don’t mind the actual price drop, they always do something horrible to the boxart. With the GameCube it wasn’t as bad, but sometimes I’d rather pay full price and get the “real” version. In any case, it will come eventually. Just don’t hold your breath.
