Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution is headed to all three current-gen consoles as well as the Nintendo DS. Firaxis showed the game off at Leipzig’s Games Convention this past week, unfortunately bringing bad news for Wii owners looking forward to the game. While 360, PS3, and DS owners will be able to get their hands on Civilization Revolution by this coming Spring, Wii owners will have to wait until next Fall at the earliest to get their hands on the game.
The fact that no preview of the Wii version was available at Leipzig possibly indicates that the delay of the Wii version could be due to revamping the control scheme and interface for the Wii remote. They know how much we love games ported to the Wii with waggle tacked on, so this should be good.
