Not long after Sega’s Takashi Yuda commented that a Sonic Riders sequel was on the way for the Xbox 360 and PS3, and with Yuda’s claim to Nintendo Power that the Wii could take Sonic Riders into the “next dimension” still fresh in our minds, and before PLAY magazine’s supposed first-look at a new Sonic Riders game, we’re tossing more fuel onto the fire.

GameStop briefly had a listing (which has since been taken down) for Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity for the Wii and PS2. Now, hearing rumors about a sequel and putting a placeholder for Sonic Riders 2 is one thing, but giving it a subtitle is a whole different event entirely. Could we be getting a new Sonic Riders game sooner than we thought?

The game was listed by GameStop for February 1, 2008. If you haven’t gotten around to the original game, better go rent it. Or find it in the bargain bins for less.
