Wii gains July momentum in Japan
The ratio of Wii consoles to PS3s sold last month wasn’t as high as it has been due to the PlayStation 3’s picking up a little bit of speed. However, that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good month for the Wii. It was a fantastic month, as the Wii sold 396,752 units in Japan for the month of July – almost double that of June’s numbers. Thank Dragon Quest Swords for that.
For comparison’s sake, the PlayStation 3 sold 91,987 units.
