Can’t wait for Wii Fit next year? If you’re like most people (or at least, how most people should be), then you really want to get your hands on that program bundle. If 2008 isn’t something you can wait for, Rocket Company may have an alternative for you.
Jumping on the bandwagon early, Rocket Company is bringing Wii Exercise to Wii owners this year. Unlike Wii Fit‘s use of a brand new peripheral, Wii Exercise simply uses the Wii remote and nunchuk. Aerobic exercises in the program resemble boxing, and an in-game nutritionist helps you create a personal dietary plan that best suits your goals.
Hard to say if it’s a Wii Fit rip-off. It probably isn’t, because it doesn’t rely on the Wii Balance Board, and we all knew fitness games were coming to the Wii anyway. Hopefully, it will be affordable and effective, tiding Wii owners into the new year.
