New Game Studio named after a Pokemon
Ok, so they’re not that similar, but I know I’m not the only one who thought of Charmander.
Blazing Lizard is a newly formed game studio that is currently working on a console downloadable game designed for all ages and demographics. That last bit there gives me hope that the Wii is one of the consoles mentioned, but it hasn’t been confirmed which consoles are receiving the game. They did drop a hint as to the theme of the game though: “Avast, Ye Scurvy Dog!” I think its safe to say that unless they have a very quirky sense of humor, the game will be based on ninja’s.
The studio was formed by Sandeep Shekar, Jiovanie Velazquez, and Christopher Stockman, three ex-Volition employee’s. They have a combined industry experience of 30 years and have been in high-profile positions on such games as Red Faction, Summoner, The Punisher, Freespace, and Elite Force 2.
The only media that they’ve released so far are these three screenshots that are incredibly blurry, the first one follows the theme of Pirates with a palm tree:
And its painfully obvious that the second screen is depicting a pair of Gastly’s and the third, a Gengar’s arm.
