Considering the enormous success of both the Wii and the DS, it seems very unlikely that Nintendo is going to stray from its innovation strategy in the next generation of consoles and handhelds. Details have recently surfaced on the internet of a new Nintendo patent that incorporates Wii remote-like motion control into a portable device that looks somewhat like a Game Boy. Although this in no way confirms that Nintendo will actually produce a product like this, it does generate some interesting discussion.

Does this look like something that you would be willing to play in public? Given the mainstream appeal that the Wii has enjoyed, most people would probably know what you were doing, but does this justify swinging your arms around wildly in a public setting?
