Videogames and art go together like a beautiful summer day and a patio cookout, complete with hot dogs (or whatever food you enjoy on the grill). In case my bad analogy needs more explanation, I guess you can just say that nothing floats my boat more than videogame art…

This piece of Super Smash Bros. fan art comes from Deviant Art member, CytosisX. According to the artist, the masterpiece took around 2 years to complete, a billion layers (I wouldn’t doubt it with the level of detail), and the type of patience that I will never, ever possess. I just wish that I came across this work before today.
