It’s either that the fine folks over at Nintendo are perfectionists, or people just don’t realize that you actually have to hold the Wii remote. A forum member over at the Nintendo World Report has received what apparently is the fourth generation wrist strap from Nintendo.
The new model includes a locking clip that should prevent the wrist strap from ever, ever, ever sliding from your hand again. What’s even better news is that the new strap includes the precious Wii labeling that the third generation lacked.
There is no word on whether or not the straps will be free from Nintendo, but I couldn’t imagine why they wouldn’t be.
