Why is it that the best Guitar Hero news is always heard during an Activision conference call? This time, the super-megaton magic word “Metallica” has been dropped. According to the conference call, Metallica’s “One” will be the song of choice.

A song of choice indeed. “One” has always been one of my favorite Metallica songs to blast on my way to Subway for a roasted chicken breast sub. Toasted, of course. In the battle of the Guitar Hero III vs Rock Band set list, it’s pretty safe to say that Guitar Hero III just had a huge ego boost.
